We are currently looking to fill an important new role in our Business Development team in Yangon. The position will contribute directly to growing our business in Myanmar, building on our existing platform and diversifying our range of services. It offers an opportunity to be part of a fast-growing business with a strong reputation and exciting future plans.

The role spans a range of skillsets, including business development, sales, client management and research, networking and more.

Specific responsibilities will include:

  • Contacting and meeting potential clients
  • Presenting FMR’s subscription and customised research services
  • Drafting proposals and following up on leads
  • Managing ongoing client relationships
  • Providing ideas on product development
  • Representing the company at networking events in Myanmar and overseas
  • Working closely with our research and editorial team

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have at least 2-3 years of experience in a related B2B field
  • Be bilingual in Myanmar and English
  • Be commercially driven, dynamic and outgoing
  • Have a strong network of business contacts in Myanmar
  • Be familiar with the type of services being offered by Frontier 
  • Be comfortable interacting with both local and foreign companies

Business Writer/Editor - Myanmar

FMR is now looking to hire a Business Writer / Editor to join our team in Yangon and work across several monitor services. This is a full-time role which will involve:

  • Monitoring news and information sources for relevant material
  • Editing written content to an international standard, ready for publication
  • Researching and writing a range of content including news briefs and company profiles
  • Collecting and analysing economic, business and trade data
  • Working closely with other staff members
  • Interviewing and meeting companies or other relevant organisations

The ideal candidate will:

  • Be a native English speaker
  • Have 2+ years of relevant experience, e.g. business journalism, editing, research
  • Be able to edit material efficiently and to a high standard
  • Have excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Have a solid understanding of Myanmar business and economic issues
  • Be comfortable with speaking to and visiting companies and government bodies
  • Be motivated by working in a small team in a fast-growing business

Salary: Dependent on experience

Sales and Business Development Manager - Egypt

We are currently looking for a Sales and Business Development Manager to join our team in Cairo. This will be a vitally important role, offering an opportunity to help grow the business and build on our existing platform in the country.. 

The role will span a range of skillsets, including business development, sales, client management, research and more.
 
Specific responsibilities will include: 
 
Direct management of business development and sales in Egypt
Contacting and meeting new clients
Handling all stages of the sales process, from identifying clients to invoicing
Dealing with ongoing client relationships
Providing ideas on product development
Training and managing other sales/BD staff
 
The ideal candidate will:
 
Have at least 2-3 years of experience in a related B2B field and role
Show a track record of success and career development
Be commercially driven and sales-oriented 
Be familiar with the type of services being offered by Frontier  
Be comfortable interacting with senior company executives
